Project Manager - Treasury Management Systems (TMS)

Your role:

As a Zanders Project Manager, responsible for treasury technology implementations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of projects within the constraints of time, budget and scope where the objectives of projects are efficiently and effectively achieved.

You will manage TMS (Treasury Management System) implementation from initiation to completion while providing leadership and maintaining project momentum towards successful delivery.

This is a remote position, based in South Africa, while managing implementations on an international landscape working closely with international clients and Zanders colleagues based in country of implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage projects, that are focused on implementation of Treasury Management Systems (TMS), to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope and budget and meet functional requirements and quality standards
• Maintain project plans and monitor project financials (budget actuals vs forecasts)
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues related to project delivery and take proactive measures to implement mitigation strategies
• Establish effective project governance processes to enable timely decision-making with all key stakeholders
• Implement a change control process for any project scope deviations during project implementations
• Establish and manage a collaborative relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact - the single point of escalation for project related issues
• Coordinate internal and external resources on projects to ensure projects remain within scope, schedule and defined budgets
• Provide project status updates to the client and relevant stakeholders on a regular basis to manage expectations and escalate issues as necessary
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and obtain approval of the applicable project documentation

Skills to be successful:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as project manager for implementing TMS (Treasury Management Systems) in a Corporate Treasury environment.
• Previous experience in Consulting and/or Treasury Consulting is a plus
• Solid experience with project methodologies and tools are required
• Project Management certification (PMP/PRINCE II/Agile PM) is beneficial
• Strong organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Native or fluent level of written and verbal communication skills in English
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with stakeholders and clients (at all management levels) in a professional and courteous manner, even in challenging circumstances
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Currently located in The Netherlands with the legal right to work
