The Position

Zanders is an international consultancy firm advising global organizations within treasury management, risk management and finance. Our clients choose us because of our specialist and trend setting ideas surrounding financial solutions.

As a result of strong growth within our client group, we are looking for an experienced consultant to take a leading role in defining and roll-out of our proposition to international Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), Foundations & Charities. The position will be based in the UK (or Netherlands).

Your Role

You will have the ambition to spearhead the business development and marketing approach, identifying new business and project opportunities, as well as successfully lead the delivery of projects or operate in a quality assurance role. In addition:

  • Lead and further develop the NGO market segment globally
  • Drive business development activities such as presentations, attending events and networking
  • Coordinate the relevant knowledge and expertise within Zanders and offering it to NGO’s. This includes focusing on strategic advisory and implementation services around Cash Management and Banking, FX Risk Management, Investment management, ALM, Payments and Treasury Technology Solutions
  • Pro-actively research market/product developments relevant for NGO’s
  • Actively involved in growing the team over time

Skills to be successful

  • Minimum 8 years relevant working experience in a NGO / Corporate Treasury function or in Treasury Consulting
  • Knowledge in Treasury Management, Risk Management, Investment Management. International Payment processes and Treasury Management Systems
  • Experience of line management and/or leading a team in project work
  • Affinity with the goals of NGO’s and not-for-profit institutions
  • A network with UN organisations or other NGO’s, preferably in Europe
  • Goal orientated; keen to lead but also be a team player
  • Relevant professional qualifications including a Bachelors or Masters degree
  • Fluent English and another language, preferably French
  • Willingness to travel to visit clients
