Impact

As a successful Manager, you will be part of our strategic plan to expand our risk management services in Scandinavia. In the new Stockholm office you will be working closely with your colleagues, also those in other Zanders offices, in developing new business and deliver high-quality advisory services. 

You will expand our clients' portfolio, convert prospects into projects and execute these projects successfully. The most important assets to be successful are a substantial knowledge of financial risk management, an entrepreneurial mentality and a network with banks and other financial institutions in the Nordic region. 

Our dedicated Nordics team is small but fast-growing and entrepreneurial, based in Stockholm, and supports Zanders' ambition to expand its international footprint. The team combines the knowledge and experience of 220 colleagues who are based in one of the six other Zanders entities. Our FRM consulting business focuses on quantitative risk-related projects for banks, insurers and asset managers and includes a team of more than 60 consultants, which are currently mainly based in our Dutch and Swiss offices. We are therefore expanding this team beyond these two 'home offices' in line with our ambitious growth plans.

 

Tasks and responsibilities

  • You will advise clients on their financial risk challenges from a strategic perspective and develop hands-on solutions.
  • You generate new business and project opportunities, both locally and internationally, pro-actively managing accounts and expanding the client portfolio.
  • You will be responsible for attracting and hiring new colleagues to further expand the team and you will be responsible for their performance.
  • You proactively research market and product developments.
  • You have a close cooperation with your colleagues in Scandinavia and other Zanders offices to strengthen our Nordics business line.
  • You will participate in activities such as presentations, customer events and networking.

 

Skills to be successful

  • A proven track record in the field of Financial Risk Management with knowledge on best market practices, current topics and regulation.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience at financial institutions or consultancy firms, more experience is very welcome.
  • A network within Financial Institutions in the Nordic Area.
  • Strong interest in building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Ambitious with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English.
