Zanders is growing rapidly and is looking to expand its Debt Advisory team in Utrecht. The Public Sector & Capital Markets team is responsible for all debt advisory assignments within Zanders, both for corporates and public sector entities. The majority of the Debt Advisory team's assignments are for corporates with a turnover between €250m and €2,500m and for public sector entities and funds. In addition, Zanders provides treasury and risk services to (international) multinational companies and financial institutions.
This is the perfect way for you to broaden your knowledge and to help our Debt Advisory clients to achieve a new funding structure and/or to obtain new financing.
Your role
Together with the team you will focus on Corporate Debt Advisory assignments. The assignments are divided into two categories. Strategic Finance assignments and Debt Advisory Execution. The first is focused on helping the client to gain an insight into their financial position, funding structure and the optimal funding strategy. The latter focuses on helping the client to obtain the right funding. You will be the sparring partner for the Treasurer, Corporate Finance Manager, Finance Director and CFO. This requires a strong sense of purpose and good financial insight and knowledge to help your clients find the right funding structure and/or the right deal.
As a Manager Debt Advisory you will be part of the Public Sector & Capital Markets team, a team of 20 consultants focused on Treasury, Risk and Debt Advisory, with diverse backgrounds but all with a passion for numbers. The team works closely together on a variety of assignments across a range of sub-sectors and projects. Your main focus will be on Debt Advisory assignments for corporate clients. Freedom, fun and flexibility play an important role within the team. Your colleagues can be described as self-starters who are keen to push their own boundaries and constantly challenge themselves.
Within the department you will be responsible for your own clients as well as onboarding new clients for Corporate Debt Advisory assignments. Our assignments are mainly advisory based, where you will work closely with the Zanders team and the client. Advisory teams generally consist of 2 to 4 consultants, depending on the size and complexity of the assignment. This allows us to provide the best possible service to the client and in this way we are able to learn from each other.
As a successful Manager Debt Advisory, you will be responsible for:
