As the Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist your role will be to source, screen, interview, and deliver offers to potential candidates in the UK and internationally. In addition to recruiting responsibilities you will be involved in other talent acquisition areas such as becoming an expert on the ATS.

Your role

You will be based in the UK, reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager (Corporates), working together with other recruitment and HR colleagues and hiring managers. There will be plenty of support to help you jump into talent acquisition or further broaden your skill set. Your role will include:

  • Full-cycle recruiting to find high-quality people – resume screening, candidate evaluation, interviewing, direct sourcing and offer
  • Global recruiting of graduate and junior consultants, progressing over time to more senior hires
  • Writing job descriptions, advertising on job boards and related social media
  • Identifying and communicating with passive/potential candidates using current tools and methods in order to maintain an active pipeline
  • Providing recruitment status reports and analysing recruitment metrics, together developing action plans based on results
  • Communicating and coordinating with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a smooth operation and timely scheduling of the interview and selection process
  • IT savvy – contributing to management of the ATS and user experience
  • Understanding of recruitment marketing and candidate attraction
  • Hybrid working is available

Your profile

  • 0-2 years of recruiting experience in an in-house or agency role
  • Excellent verbal and business writing skills in English, in order to draft position descriptions, coordinate interviews/meetings, and communicate with hiring managers
  • Learn to to quickly select qualified resumes and screen applicants efficiently, vetting for position requirements and culture match
  • Analytical, with a data-driven approach to identifying recruitment strategies
  • Experience of working with an ATS is preferable
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Exacting standards and an eye for detail
  • Experienced applicants wouldy ideally have a recruiting background in finance, IT or FinTech
  • A degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • A second language would be a nice addition
  • The right to work in the UK
