About Zanders

Zanders supports businesses and institutions globally in their interactions with financial markets. We're committed to delivering bespoke consulting and implementing process and system projects in treasury and financial risk management.

Our division, Zanders Solutions, offers specialized cloud solutions within our expertise areas, easing operational and compliance burdens for clients. Our infrastructure comprises around thirty microservices, built in Python and React, deployed to Microsoft Azure with PostgreSQL, managed through Gitlab CI/CD pipelines and Terraform.

Your Function

As a Junior Engineer, you will assist in advancing our development and production processes and bringing our software solutions to the next stage. Your role involves supporting the development of backend services and infrastructure, delivering high quality code, and collaborating on bug resolution.

Tasks

• Assist in scaling and improving our infrastructure.
• Help improve the development environment.
• Assist in translating product owner specifications into implementable features.
• Participate in code reviews and seek feedback for improvement.
• Collaborate on the technical integration of code and environment.
• Investigate problems in the environment

This is an entry-level position and to be successful you need

• 0 to maximum 3 years experience with setting up or maintaining pipelines and infrastructure.
• Experience with Python
• Proficiency in using version control systems
• Experience with any the following is a pre: Postgresql, SQLAlchemy, FastApi, Azure, Kubernetes, Gitlab, Terraform.
• Demonstrable problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the software development field
• Currently residing in the Netherlands
