We are currently seeking an experienced Events Manager to take charge of and oversee all event efforts within our organization, starting from the initial request, through seamless execution, to conducting post-event briefings. 

Your role

As the Events Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Marketing, the marketing team, and the business to craft and implement strategic marketing plans and programs. These initiatives will be aimed at boosting brand awareness, generating valuable leads, and ultimately driving increased sales revenue across both our in-person and digital events.

  • Develop and execute an events strategy that aligns with and supports the overarching company goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the business to gain a deep understanding of their needs and formulate marketing programs that effectively support their objectives.
  • Plan and execute regional events, trade shows, webinars, and other field marketing activities to enhance brand awareness and generate valuable leads.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of events, ensuring timely execution, adherence to budget constraints, and measurable outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Marketing, Digital Marketing Manager, and the rest of the marketing team to create and implement marketing campaigns and initiatives that maximize both revenue and brand value in your designated area of responsibility.
  • Cultivate and manage a network of vendors and partners to bolster your efforts.
  • Regularly monitor and analyze the performance of all Zanders events, providing updates and recommendations to enhance results.

Skills to be successful

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in events or project management, preferably within the B2B technology or software industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing campaigns centered around events and tradeshows.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data to make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.
  • Demonstrated creativity and meticulous attention to detail evident in your work.
  • Currently based in the European Union, preferably in The Netherlands.
